Meet Ms. Applewhite
Ms. Juantia Applewhite is a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for what she does. She specializes in adult-gerontology and managing chronic conditions in long-term facilities. Obtaining a bachelors degree in Health Education from NC Central University and another in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University, she is filled with knowledge and experience.
Ms. Applewhite also earned a Master's Degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master's of Nursing from Walden Univserity. She currently holds two national board certifications with the NC Board of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Her passion for education in health and wellness allows her the opportunity to provide health workshops for the community, specializing in chronic medical conditions, lifestyle choices, and medication management.
In her spare time, Ms. Applewhite teaches aerobic exercise to empower women to be the best "fit” versions of themselves. She truly believes that every woman should embody strength, courage, and the ability to achieve life goals. Overall, she enjoys using her passion for serving as a "Health Hero," educating her patients and the community on creating and living a healthy lifestyle.

Legacy Homecare provides in-home care services in the triangle area of North Carolina. Services are rendered in the client's home for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 24 hours.
The agency will provide direct case management by a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to determine the type, appropriateness, and adequacy of the requested services, including, at minimum an initial home visit for assessment of the client's needs and development of a plan of care.
We want to ensure that care is provided with dignity and compassion and that each plan of care is tailored to meet the needs of the client.
